Business Analyst/Product Owner
Description We are seeking a Business Analyst who is an expert in pricing and rating tools in Excel to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. As a Business Analyst, you will be tasked with managing essential process documentation and leading the implementation of functional and technical solutions. Collaborating with business partners and IT leadership, you will gather business requirements, provide expertise, and help execute plans to enhance business capabilities, achieve results, and support organizational strategic priorities. Responsibilities • Lead project implementation of functional and technical solutions in collaboration with business partners and IT leadership • Gather and document business requirements from senior level stakeholders, both internal and external • Manage essential process documentation and maintain accurate records • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on findings • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently • Maintain accurate customer credit records • Elicit business requirements and provide guidance to enhance business capability and support organizational strategic priorities • Resolve customer inquiries and communicate effectively with business leadership in the Insurance industry • Execute plans and strategies to achieve results • Collaborate with a team while demonstrating the ability to work independently for results Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Strong communication and documentation skills • Experience in planning and executing planning processes • Thorough understanding of business policies and procedures • Capable of reviewing and improving existing systems and policies • Proven project management skills • Knowledge of insurance and pricing practices • Familiarity with the aviation industry is preferred • Leadership skills and experience with hiring processes • Fluency in English language • Ability to serve as a liaison between different departments and stakeholders • Proficiency in Agile methodologies • Capable of resolving issues promptly and effectively • Experience in working with About Time software is preferred.
