Business Analyst/Product Owner
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst/Product Owner in the non-profit industry, based in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves managing and documenting business requirements, specifications, and business process changes with a focus on user-centric solutions. Responsibilities: • Manage and document business requirements and specifications using standard analysis techniques. • Develop Agile Scrum User Stories and Acceptance Criteria. • Engage with business stakeholders to identify and assess both business and technical requirements. • Utilize advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio in daily tasks. • Assist the Quality Assurance team in translating requirements and user stories into test scenarios and plans. • Employ various tools to manage Agile initiatives, including Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, etc. • Create process diagrams, page wireframes, and/or page mock-ups to illustrate requirements when necessary. • Provide clear and concise communication in both written and verbal formats, effectively communicating complex business and technical concepts to a diverse audience. • Support both internal and external users/customers of a platform/software. Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira to manage and track project tasks and progress. • Experience with CRM to maintain and develop client relationships. • Ability to conduct Gap Analysis to identify and rectify process inefficiencies. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data management and optimization. • Skilled in using Microsoft Word for creating and managing documents. • Experience in AB Testing to optimize product performance. • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies for efficient project management. • Understanding of Business Process Functions to ensure effective operations. • Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Document for project clarity. • Experience in Claim Administration to handle and process claims effectively.
