We are seeking Business Analyst Students for our Canadian Industrial Division in our Edmonton, AB office, who are available for 4 month or 8 months starting in May, 2025.
As a Business Analyst Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
ResponsibilitiesCreates and maintains process and system documentation
Evaluates information & business process flows against available technology
Works with the development team to ensure the final product meets the business requirements (no coding)
Takes part in User Acceptance Testing.
Develops or assists in developing strategic/tactical testing deliverables such as Test Strategies &Plans
Performs manual testing analysis and design
Identifies and assist in the preparation of test data
Monitors and manage completion of assigned testing scope and deliverables
Ensures quality processes defined in the Quality Plan are followed
Executes/maintains test cases per test cycle activities as defined in test plan
Identifies, logs, and follows-up on all defects encountered
Develops support materials
Liaises with business, technology, and finance support teams to ensure system solutions meet businessrequirements
Identifies opportunities for improved utilization of existing business applications and processes
Supports effective identification, assessment and resolution of business and system problems
Creates and maintains process, training and system documentation
Supports Financial Applications:
Develops job aid documentation/training materials
Tests of application and job aids
Root cause analysis/general investigation
Answers questions/delivers ad hoc training to PCL employees on an as needed basis
