Business Analyst with Power BI
Description We are seeking a Business Analyst with Power BI expertise to join our manufacturing team in Pasadena, Texas. As an integral part of our team, you will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring the smooth operation and development of our business intelligence tools. You will also be responsible for managing third-party systems access and overseeing the administration of our Salesforce CRM platform. Responsibilities: • Act as the primary contact for rebate inquiries, ensuring accurate and efficient reporting and reconciliation. • Develop and maintain effective business intelligence tools in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders. • Administer the Salesforce CRM platform in partnership with an external vendor, while identifying synergies between Salesforce and other software. • Train sales, sales management, and other stakeholders on Salesforce, Power BI, and other relevant systems. This includes creating effective training documentation and video walkthroughs. • Identify and prioritize issues with third-party datasets, providing regular summaries of findings to the team. • Manage access to third-party systems, including Salesforce and Power BI, granting and revoking access as necessary. • Maintain and improve upon existing reporting tools, developing new ones as needed. • Monitor and maintain customer credit records and process customer credit applications as required. • Undertake any other duties as assigned or required within the scope of the role. Requirements • Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira is a must. • Experience in Database management and operations is required. • Familiarity with EO/IR systems is expected. • Ability to perform Gap Analysis effectively is essential. • Knowledge of Informatica is a prerequisite. • Experience in AB Testing is necessary. • Agile Scrum methodology experience is mandatory. • Understanding of Business Process Functions is crucial. • Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Document is required. • Design skills, particularly in the context of business analysis, are needed. • Proficiency in Power BI is a key requirement.
