Business Analytics Advisor (National Contracting) - Hybrid

Role Description

This role will create and manage large volume data extracts supporting a variety of cost savings initiatives including fertility vendor claims. This individual will work with multiple teams within Network Analytics to support claim payment controls. This role will be responsible for data extraction/manipulation, automation, and creating reports.

Responsibilities

Responsible for delivery of monthly reports to various matrix partners

Works closely with various teams to establish accurate reporting processes and ensure proper data quality protocols are being followed

Works closely with matrix partners to understand what data they need and how best to obtain it in order to meet business objectives   

Partners with teams to automate reports and provide analytical support where applicable to reduce technical load on matrix partners

Support matrix partners on an ad hoc basis as needed to support various integral business needs

Produce, improve and advance key metric reporting utilizing and effectively communicate results/findings

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with health care cost analysis required

Strong skills using analytics and BI tools: SQL, Python, Tableau preferred

Working knowledge of enterprise data warehouses such as Teradata, Databricks, Oracle, DB2, etc

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Self-starter with demonstrated experience in producing Healthcare Analytics, Informatics, and reporting

Knowledge of standard medical coding: CPT, ICD10, HCPCS, Rev Code

Experience with SAS a plus


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,000 - 160,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
