Responsible for analysis, insight development, and supporting the pricing strategy for a $80B Consumer Deposit portfolio to achieve the Line of Business’ revenue and growth objectives As a Business Analyst you will be a part of Key's Consumer Bank division, tackling our most challenging and high-leverage analytical and strategic problems. Business Analysts at Key help business leaders design, recommend, and implement strategies that will drive bottom line impacts.

In this role a Business Analyst will leverage best in-class analytical tools and techniques to gather insights and inform new business strategies, engage directly with leaders in the business, technology, operations, and finance, and receive action-oriented training and support from talented practitioners and experienced senior leaders.

RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE

Accountable for the creation, maintenance, and automation of required deposit portfolio reports and performance dashboards.Developing deep insights that help drive the overall growth and profitability of our Retail and Private Bank deposit portfolio through efficient portfolio reporting, insight development, and pricing. This includes supporting the design, development and implementation of pricing (both acquisitions and retention) plans and associated performance reporting.Collaborating with segment management, product leadership, retail deposit teams, and our Finance partners on the development of accurate portfolio, production, pricing and revenue forecasts. Aligning pricing strategy with the business’ roadmap and growth expectations.Providing analytics and deposit pricing thought and executional leadership.Assist Key’s Deposit Product, Pricing, and Insights team in developing a strong understanding of analytical tools (SAS, Tableau etc.), the ability to gather data from multiple sources, the ability to work with these tools without aide and the ability to analyze data to make actionable recommendations.Contributing to building a strategy for how Key best utilize data to drive deeper client relationships, drive new insights and actionable recommendations and ultimately maximize revenue.Implementing and deliver operations and business development initiatives through effective project management.Independently analyze issues, as they arise, and appropriately escalate, and manage through resolution.Evaluating results identifying drivers of any variances vs plan and create transparency of these results and drivers.Evaluating pricing positioning relative to financial projections and competitors, supporting pricing strategies as needed, communicating updates and consult on short term tactics with the longer-term impact considered.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in an analytically rigorous discipline (Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, etc.)Strong communication skills (written, verbal, active listening); ability to structure and deliver clearly articulated presentations. Strong knowledge of, Excel, SAS, GCP, and TableauAbility to work with a team of knowledgeable professionals and partners.Ability to work effectively with senior and middle level managers and with large interdisciplinary teams.Understanding of the business and financial drivers for the Retail Bank is a plus.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Ability to automate and maintain reporting using data from various data repositories.Ability to articulate or visualize complicated data/information in a summarized story for senior management.Ability to work within an agile delivery model while focused on multiple projects at once and prioritizing delivery based on key objectives.Consult on business review development to highlight findings and recommendations.Support the development of recommendations to advise senior management on high-priority initiatives, including growth strategy, product and segment strategies, and cross-business initiatives.Partner with Finance, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Legal and our 2nd and 3rd lines of defense as needed to properly manage KeyBank’s deposit products.
