Leidos is looking for a Business Applications System Administrator to support a large U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) program. The Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is responsible for enforcing federal antitrust laws and promoting fair competition in the marketplace. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing a variety of business-critical applications, including iManage, eRooms, Confluence, and Jira. You will ensure that these systems operate efficiently, securely, and reliably, supporting business processes and ensuring smooth collaboration across teams. This work is located onsite in the DC area.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and support core business applications: iManage, eRooms, Confluence, and Jira.
Perform system configuration, updates, and patches to ensure applications are running at peak performance and meet business needs.
Troubleshoot issues related to application performance, user access, and integration between systems.
Monitor system health, logs, and performance metrics, identifying and resolving any potential problems or bottlenecks.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and roles to ensure proper access control.
Regularly assess system performance and implement improvements to optimize speed, efficiency, and reliability of the applications.
Ensure proper backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested for business applications.
Help configure and maintain custom workflows, automations, and add-ons in Confluence and Jira to enhance team productivity.
Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures.
Regularly review and apply software updates, patches, and security fixes to ensure applications remain secure and up-to-date.
Participate in change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions when new versions or configurations are implemented.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of experience in administering business applications, specifically iManage, eRooms, Confluence, and Jira, or similar systems in an enterprise environment.
Proficient in administering and supporting iManage, eRooms, Confluence, and Jira.
Familiarity with SQL and basic scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and troubleshooting.
Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning for business applications.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts, security practices, and integration techniques.
Strong diagnostic skills to identify issues and implement timely solutions in business-critical applications.
Ability to work cross-functionally with different teams, including IT, development, and business units, to implement solutions and enhancements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document processes, collaborate with team members, and provide end-user support.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities, managing both day-to-day support as well as long-term project initiatives.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with application-specific scripting or configuration (e.g., Jira workflows, iManage document management customization).
Familiarity with ITIL framework or similar methodologies for IT service management.
Experience with cloud-based implementations or hybrid environments for business applications.
