Location: Vestby/ Norway

We are excited to be looking for a dynamic Business Area Manager - Special Projects to join our Norway site, bringing energy and expertise to the management and preservation of important documents and archives. Job summary:

Iron Mountain Norway is looking for a Business Area Manager - Special Projects with a good knowledge of the market, to support business operations by providing various administrative support activities in a variety of functions to an individual, team, department or another group in our organization.

Your role in our mission:

● Preparation of cost calculations
● Inspections at customer
● Project management
● Detailed inventory of documents
● Sorting: determination of retention periods and final disposition of documents
● Preparation and indexing for digitization
● Quality control
● Updating project schedules and tracking indicators
● Coordinating between different stakeholders (client, digitization service)
● Coach, train and guide employees to deliver high levels of quality service

Technical Skills:

● Knowledge of principles for archival description, applicable standards, and
standardized vocabularies
● Ability to assess, identify, and select archives
● Familiarity with the legislative, regulatory, and normative framework for public sector
archive management
● Experience with digitization of archives from Government/publicly owned enterprises
● Education in archives or extensive experience from state / publicly owned enterprises
● Experience with project management / implementation of larger projects
● Experience with Noark systems and withdrawals/drop-offs
● Knowledge of BK (preservation and disposal) assessments around digitalisation

Minimum Skills & Qualifications:
