Business Associate & Data Privacy Consultant - Vice President
The VP of Data Analytics role will report into the Head Data of Privacy and Governance in the ICM CAO and will focus on the coordination of cross border data clearance and data privacy efforts. This is an exciting opportunity for a practically minded professional with excellent knowledge of Program Management principles, data analysis and a track record of their successful application in the Financial Industry. **Responsibilities:** + Perform data privacy reconciliations and data analysis across the Client organization using Citi Enterprise Architecture Methodology (CEAM), Cross Border Data Clearance (CBDC) and records of processing activity (ROPA). + Perform data analysis to support executive decision making. + Manage large amounts of data and complex spreadsheets, ensuring alignment of data across numerous sources and processes. + Create and execute data management controls and governance, flag inconsistencies and remediate any data quality issues. + Produce management reports and operational metrics dashboards to monitor progress of projects/initiatives. + Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and propose acceptable solutions. + Provide guidance (identify themes) on data privacy and CBDC metrics, and act as point of contact for Cross Border Data Clearance process. + Monitor incoming queries to support the broader client organization on data privacy, CBDC and outsourcing. + Build executive decks, metrics to support root cause analysis of data. + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency **Qualifications and Competencies:** + Experience in data management and mapping, data analysis and dashboards. + Expert in Microsoft Excel, able to resolve complex spreadsheets based on requirements. SQL is desirable + Automation of processes, controls and reports using excel/Sharepoint/VBA. + Ability to identify and manage competing or changing priorities, and manage stakeholder expectations + Has the ability to operate independently with a limited level of direct supervision. + Interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization and across different geographic locations. + A proactive and “no surprises” approach in communicating issues. + Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
