Join our team as a Business Assurance, where you'll play a critical role in maintaining high standards across our mortgage and protection business. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse mortgage products, conduct detailed file reviews, and contribute to our commitment to Consumer Duty. With the potential to expand into protection business in the future, this is an exciting role for a motivated individual who thrives on precision and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct file reviews for Regulated Mortgage Contracts, to assess suitability, including bridging, self-build, and private bank/HNW clients.Assess Non-Regulated Buy-to-Let Mortgages for suitability and compliance.Evaluate recommendations to ensure they meet Consumer Duty standards, with a particular focus on delivering good outcomes for vulnerable clients.Provide constructive feedback through face-to-face or telephone discussions.Manage shared Compliance inboxes to address queries and maintain smooth operations.Handle Customer Due Diligence (CDD) queries and ensure adherence to Anti-Money Laundering regulations.Collaborate with the team to maintain compliance with FCA principles and other regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of FCA principles and regulations.Understanding of the requirements under The Consumer Duty.Experience in the mortgages sector, ideally in an advisory or business assurance capacity.Sound knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Consumer Due Diligence (CDD) regulations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide clear and constructive feedback.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.CeMAP qualification or equivalent is desirableWhat do we offer in return?
