As a Direct Business Solutions Representative you will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities through telephone outreach. You will engage in heavy outbound phone calling and some email outreach to business clients and prospects, providing consultation to align product solutions that support business growth. You will primarily be responsible for identifying and selling business services products; and may also open deposit accounts. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and referring sales opportunities to bank partners when appropriate. Qualities of a successful candidate: Sales Outreach: Self-starter that is disciplined enough to manage daily calling activity to achieve required results. Communication Skills - Interpersonal: Comfortable and confident with proactively engaging in conversation Customer Service Skills: Builds trust and confidence with clients Adaptability: Has the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new information and technology Teamwork: Strives to build strong working relationships with those on their team as well as cross-functional relationships Influence: Capable of building rapport with different personalities to drive positive results Responsibilities The essential functions of the job include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following: Calling leads for business clients. Engaging business clients in discovery conversation to identify product needs. Partnering with other bank partners to confirm product needs and propose solutions. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Sales, customer service, or lending or financial services sales; or completion of a First Citizens career development program OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Sales, customer service, or lending or financial services sales; or completion of a First Citizens career development program Preferred Area of Experience: Business development, business banking, lending, merchant services, treasury management License or Certification Type: Must possess a valid driver's license.
