Schedule – Part Time, shift may vary, Monday – Friday

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for directing the center’s outreach and public relations plans and activities to include promoting and maintaining positive relationships with employers and community partners, in compliance with government and management directives. 

Essential Functions: 

Develop and monitor departmental budget, control expenditures review and recommend changes to budget authorizations.  Maintain linkages with one-stop career centers; keep on-stops informed and updated on Job Corps, impress on one-stops and OA/CTS contractors the importance of providing accurate information on center.  Manage membership and meeting of community relations council (CRC). Maintain required documentation of meetings and activities related to the CRC.  Coordinate project-based student volunteers for outreach and recruitment which includes public speaking, community events, job fairs, high school visits and work based learning (WBL) for OA contracts. Assist with the coordination of multi-cultural on and off center events. Serve on the Diversity Committee. 

Education and Experience Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree preferred and four (4) year’s related experience. Directly related experience may be consider in lieu of formal education requirement.  Must have knowledge of public relations and working with employers. A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
