Job DescriptionAs a Business Compliance Intern, you will assist in compliance projects covering the company’s operations to determine if functional areas are operating in accordance with established policies; implementing changes as a result of compliance audits; and other accounting, compliance, audit, and finance work under direction of the Business Compliance group.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Testing business operations against control requirements, SOX TestingAssisting with System Access Reviews for risk mitigation in company systemsPerforming audit(s) of Lennox retail stores – potential travel opportunityPerforming audit(s) of inventory for accurate inventory controls – potential travel opportunity Assisting other parts of the business with implementing new processes or controls, with the guidance of Business Compliance groupOther accounting, compliance, audit, or finance projects as directed QualificationsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
College/University Student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance / Accounting or related business degree, with a minimum GPA of 3.2Strong interpersonal and communication skillsMust be well organized and detail oriented with good analytical abilities and problem solving skillsAbility to manage time and prioritize tasks Ability to quickly learn and contribute to new projects and use new technologiesAbility to work in office at our Richardson HQ 4 days/week, WFH Fridays Need help finding the right job?
