Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

Design, development, implementation and support of assembly, test stations and other control equipment to drive improvements in quality and manufacturing. work closely with software and process engineers to review requirements and implement test and machine controls for production machinery. Through application of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, lead and facilitate the continuous improvement of methods and technology to reduce the time and material impact of test while improving upstream assembly controls for better quality product.  Ensures sustainability and continuous improvements projects. Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment. Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Management Engineering is required. 3+ years’ experience as Process, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineer. Good mastery of Lean Manufacturing. Knowledge of quality tools like 8D-report, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and IATF 16949 Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude.
