Job Description-

A professional in Client EDT practice at this position level in Client has the following responsibilities:

Understanding and analyzing the existing business models of Client’s customers and proposing digital strategy to help in their Digital journey to become Reborn Digital.



Key responsibilities

Propose solutions to simplify business complexities, create change and transformation strategies, and prepare implementation plans to deliver and drive adoption of enterprise processes, contents and big data.

Own accountability for the design of business and IT vision, implementation strategies, project planning, and presentations

Lead rapid brainstorming sessions to quickly assess current state complexities in business, data, application, and strategy to identify architectural challenges and automation opportunities for future state IT solutions

Create and present clear, visually illustrative, decision options with trade-offs for future state business functional requirements, solution blueprints, and application designs to drive understanding and enable rapid project decisions

Create and grow business Technology User Groups to socialize transformative technologies, drive adoption of approved enterprise applications, socialize technology roadmaps, proofs of concept, and technology reviews and selection

Work with the various customers, Client’s Vertical & Horizontal sales teams and to position Enterprise Digital Transformation and other Service lines and Solutions for perspective clients across industries and global geographies. This is a 100% travel role

Assist or create propositions & customer specific proposals to achieve a client’s strategic business technology objectives to become a Digital Enterprise, enable profitability goals, align to industry drivers and deliver a step-change in operational and management performance

Be hands-on when required and responsible for developing / assisting with the development of solutions, prototypes, proof of concepts and sales collateral around Enterprise Digital Transformation for growing the pipeline of opportunities. This role requires working with start-up mindset, with an ability to roll up sleeves and being hands-on when required.

Responsible for assisting sales organization with creating and expanding awareness of EDT propositions. Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Client, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters. Has brilliant latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.

Manages teams and/or work in an individual contributor role at a customer or within Client.


Key Qualification Requirements (Business Consultant)



· Overall experience of 12+ years in devising strategy / solutions / products for Enterprise & consumer IT

· 5-6 years of professional services / product experience in Cloud, Mobile on Application architecture & Development

· Experience in any one of the following technologies - API/middleware/SOA, Databases, J2EE - back end technologies and must have full solution creation understanding with strong business analyst skills

· Experience of devising end to end innovative solutions / products based on at least two of emerging technologies - mobile, cloud, social, IoT, BaaS

· Hands on experience in mobile or cloud technologies - specifically with Azure, AWS, Force1

· Experience working with large customers - at C level

· Experience in creating and presenting to senior executives in customers’ organizations with excellent verbal and written communication skill

· Experience in leading pre-sales or post-sales for more than 3 customers

· Devising solutions based on Digital technologies - Mobile, cloud, social, IoT etc., - should have devised / developed at least 2 solutions

· Startup experience either in devising product / solutions for new markets

· Experience with either BFSI, Retail or Healthcare domains

· Experience working as a Strategist to design and define Operating Model and Enterprise Architecture

· Solid business strategy, and/or operating model experience

· Solid experience in a consulting side environment

· Ability to travel for work regularly

· Master of Business Administration or the equivalent graduate degree

· Proven track record in client relationship development

· Preferably located in San Francisco Bay Area but the suitable candidate can be located anywhere in contiguous United States.



Good to Have



· Expert understanding of how digital technologies/products can be leveraged to enable strategic outcomes

· Understanding of Digital Industry threats and general marketplace and designing transformation to leverage digital technology for a client

· Experience with a failure of a solution / product / implementation

· Ideally 3-5 years’ experience within digital industry

· Experience working at a consulting firm or equivalent in an internal consulting role
