Dedicated to ensuring the continuity of our essential functions, a successful candidate will focus on implementing our framework, developing disaster recovery planning and testing strategies, and lead a team of experienced program managers and continuity coordinators.
You will be trusted to:
- Serve in a leadership role requiring technical expertise and strategic thinking.
- Play a lead role in executing and maintaining a comprehensive business continuity framework.
- Lead disaster recovery and data restoration strategy projects and develop and manage those practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risk, plan for, and test recovery capabilities following disruptions.
- Lead the development and production of large enterprise exercises and other business continuity framework cycles.
You qualify with:
- Twelve or more years of experience in business continuity and disaster recovery programs/processes or other relevant experience, including three years of leadership responsibility. A degree(s) in business, technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
You are a great fit with:
- Strong team leadership skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, drive business continuity successes, and build resiliency.
- Proficient in managing business continuity and disaster recovery for IT infrastructure, applications, and data in both IT and OT environments.
- Working knowledge of backup solutions, disaster recovery tools, cloud-based disaster recovery, and related best practices.
