What you'll do:

Western Alliance is seeking Business Control Analyst. This role is aligned to the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) team who are accountable for implementing a consistent, sustainable, and timely RCSA program Enterprise wide. This includes inherent risk identification, control identification, residual risk assessment, and risk treatment plans.

The successful candidate will be a motivated team player who has expertise in risk and control oversight; a self-starter who is accustomed to working in fast-paced, complex, evolving organizations with diverse stakeholders; and an agile individual who is able to withstand challenges and adapt quickly with an execution mindset.

What we are looking for:

Responsibilities:

Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) Build, maintain, and refresh RCSAs for significant business processes, including:Development of process flows and process narrativesSupport Risk and control analysisIdentifying gaps or limitations within processes and systemsEnsure that potential changes in inherent risk or control breakdowns/ deficiencies that could impact residual risk are documented and communicated.Act as a trusted advisor to the business in guiding them through the risk management lifecycle.Support discussions risk assessments with stakeholders and assist in coordinating requests and responses during Internal Audits and bank regulatory examsEnsures accuracy and timeliness for operational of the risk and control inventory

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Technology or a related field3+ years of experience in Compliance, Operations Management, Audit, Risk Management, or related field
