The role reports to the VP Sales Manager North America and is responsible for the Business Control function for a key territory. However, you will also have exposure to the wider Division, Business Area, and Sandvik Group.
Your role will be to provide real-time support and analysis, to be a trusted adviser, and to add value that will assist in decision-making. Critical to your success will be the ability to understand your stakeholders and deliver information in a clear and user-friendly manner.
This proper business partner role requires an energetic personality, comfort in sharing financial data, and knowledge to coach their peers. You will have a collaborative mindset and be happy taking an active role in problem-solving throughout the business.
Location: Hybrid with flexibility in North America.
The role:
Follow up, analysis, and clear explanations and comments regarding actual results, forecasts, and targetsSupport profitability analysisPreparation and validation of business cases and investment proposalsDriver of improvements in both reporting and forecasting accuracyConsolidation and on-time reporting of actual, forecast, and target resultsJoint responsibility with Financial Control for a standardized reporting, forecast, and target processSupport Performance Management process, including KPI development and implementationDriver of Net Working Capital efficiency and overall business performanceProvide tools for a standardized way of working within Business ControlProvide administration support of Finance IT tools in day-to-day operations and as Finance representative for future developmentsThe Business Controller should possess a minimum of 7-10 years related experience in finance. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience preferred. Strategic planning and operations experience desired.
