Position Description: Business Controller
The business controller brings a solid foundation in controlling, auditing, or financial management, along with a proactive mindset and strong analytical capabilities. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders at all levels, demanding excellent communication and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The business controller acts as a vital link between finance and other departments, ensuring effective collaboration and driving business improvements in close alignment with the overarching finance, supply chain and MillerKnoll group objectives.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Processes & Policies
Assisting in the design, implementation, and monitoring of processes such as payroll, credit management and VAT/customs.Testing and establishing financial applications within Microsoft D365, setting up policies to optimize workflows.SOX Compliance
Supporting SOX compliance within the HAY Group, including performing controls, updating documentation, facilitating audits, and implementing necessary updates to narratives, flowcharts and controls.Providing ongoing guidance to ensure the organization understands SOX requirements and delivers successful SOX tests.Transfer Pricing Compliance
Securing compliance with transfer pricing regulations through updated intercompany agreements, pricing policies, and cost allocations.Preparing the transfer pricing documentation (master file and local files) for all HAY group entities.Financial Reporting and Decision Support
Supporting cost and sub-budget follow-ups, profitability analysis, ROI calculations, and preparing presentations to inform decision-making at both local and group levels.Handling royalty/license calculations, withholding taxes, and reporting.Real Estate and Risk Management
Assisting with real estate management tasks, including CAPEX controlling and real estate reporting towards MillerKnoll.Contributing to insurance-related matters and ensuring compliance with local and group standards.Risk and credit assessment of customersWho We Hire?
