How you make a difference

As a Business Controller, you’ll play a key role in supporting Samsung’s financial processes and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations. This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Finance within a global organization.
 

Your Responsibilities:Promotion Management: Create and manage promotions in internal systems, ensuring accurate pricing, timely updates, and smooth execution under tight deadlines.Data Analysis and Reporting: Use tools like Power BI and SQL to analyze data, prepare financial reports, and provide insights for sales strategies.Budget Management: Set up, maintain, and monitor budgets using Samsung’s SAP N-ERP system, learning the ins and outs of promotions, divisions, and accounts.Database Maintenance: Keep financial data accurate and up to date for reporting and analysis.Sales Support: Act as the go-to financial contact for the Sales division, ensuring promotions, contracts, and payments run seamlessly.Monthly Reporting: Monitor your division’s financial health and present findings during Forecast and Closing sessions.Forecasting and Monthly Closing: Be a key stakeholder in Samsung's forecasting and month-end closing process, budgeting the promotional plans in the P&L for the current month, upcoming months, and the complete next year.Process Improvement: Contribute to automation (RPA) and optimization projects, collaborating on innovative financial solutions.

Your team
As our new Business Controller, you’ll be part of a close-knit and diverse group of 10 people within the FP&A team, with 3 members in Belgium and the rest in the Netherlands. As our new Business Controller, you are passionate about numbers and problem-solving. You are proactive, take initiative, and stay composed under pressure. With excellent communication skills, you collaborate effectively and bring positive energy to the team. Your precision, drive, and enthusiasm make you well-equipped to tackle challenges in a dynamic environment.

We also request:

A completed WO or bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or a similar direction.At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar financial role, where you have gained experience with budget planning, target setting, month-end closing, and analysis.Good command of the Dutch and English language at a professional level. Knowledge of the Korean language (speaking, reading and writing) is considered a plus.Skilled in using MS Office (Excel & Powerpoint) and Power-BI.
