Your role and responsibilities

ABB's Process Automation team designs and implements automation solutions, from devices, to monitoring and control, enhancing our customers' return on investment. Our digitization solutions improve plant and enterprise productivity while reducing maintenance and energy costs. Our deep domain knowledge allows us to understand and address the challenges and opportunities of the market. This position is within the Process Control Platform (PCP) business unit. PCP serves as a value-generating partner, creating digital control solutions for various industries. We manage the entire value chain, from suppliers to delivery, ensuring competitive advantage through customer satisfaction, response time, cost, and on-time delivery. If you are interested in acting as a business partner to the organization, leading local controlling teams, optimizing financial performance, and supporting effective business decisions by analyzing and interpreting financial data to recommend the most appropriate solutions, then this job is for you! This role reports to the Senior Business Controller of the Business Unit. Your responsibilities:• Partner with the Business Unit Manager to define and determine business strategy aligned with wider Division and Product Group strategies • Convert business strategy into measurable targets and plans, assess financial implications, identify risks, and propose actions • Interface with other managers and Controllers about financial, market, organizational and customer situations • Oversee business planning and forecasting. • Serve as the interface to the wider organization for the business unit • Collaborate with the head of R&D on complete R&D controlling, including resource and cost monitoring and investment benefit analysis • Establish and oversee processes for transparent and reliable financial data. Ensure high standards of financial and master data and compliance with internal controls and regulations • With HR Manager support, ensure your area is organized, staffed, and guided. Develop direct/indirect subordinates within HR policies

Qualifications for the role

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field 3+ years of experience in a Controlling role or a similar position Familiarity with computerized accounting systems (preferably SAP) and financial reporting software 1 | Business Controller An analytical mindset with attention to detail, accuracy, and multitasking abilities Flexible and pragmatic, able to express different views without conflict, with strong interpersonal skills Proactive, solution-oriented, team-focused sees opportunities in problems Fluency in English required, fluency or conversational skills in Swedish are considered a plus
