Overview The Specialty Pharmacy Business Coordinator, under the direction of the Ambulatory Pharmacy Manager, will be responsible for supporting the operational efficiency of specialty pharmacy services by coordinating fiscal management activities, performing data analysis, maintaining departmental statistics and reports, assisting with contracting, and auditing 340B utilization, purchase records and realized cost savings, across all system sites. They organize, supervise, direct, evaluate and validate data collection and reporting functions to ensure the provision of accurate, efficient, and appropriate specialty pharmacy services, including but not limited to payment reconciliation, specialty pharmacy network inclusion, audit-related recoveries, pharmacy audit procedures, and having knowledge of payer audit processes. Qualifications Required Education: Associate's degree Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration or related field Required Licensure/Certifications: Registered pharmacy technician or eligible for pharmacy technician registration within 90 days of hire Preferred Licensure/Certifications: N/A Required Experience: Minimum 1 year experience with specialty pharmacy operations, business management, and/or insurance payor access Preferred Experience: N/A Necessary Skills: 1. Possess strong self-motivational skills and be able to function independently in a matrixed organization. 2. Proven communications, interpersonal relations and team building skills. 3. Advanced knowledge in the use of financial software applications, databases, spreadsheets/pivot tables, and/or word processing required. 4.
