Business Coordinator – Federal Business

Duties and Responsibilities:

Familiarity with Federal Government procurement process.Ability to work independently.Ability to mentor others and provide support to employee development and training.Conduct general Business Development, Marketing, Writing, and Communications.Research lead generation platforms for relevant opportunities.Create, maintain and track opportunity leads in SRM database.Track future project leads and update information regularly.Support bid capture planning, proposal development, and bid preparation efforts.Engage with employees at all levels of the organization.Provide reports on key performance indicators.Implement and support management of new business initiatives and processes.Process Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Teaming Agreements (TAs) in coordination with the Contracts and Risks office.Assist with meetings, and customer visits when requested.

This job might be for you if you have:

A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.5+ years of experience in a federal business development environment.US citizenship.A basic understanding of federal government procurement policies and practices.Exceptional analytical, prioritization, time management, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Proficient skills in Microsoft Office 365 (e.g., Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, and SRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).The ability to develop positive, professional relationships and work cooperatively in a team environment.Ability to work flexible work hours on an ad hoc basis to support colleagues and customers in international time zones.The ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.The ability to travel up to 25%.Knowledge and experience of engineering and construction business practices and processes (preferred).

Salary Range Data

We anticipate filling this position as a Business Coordinator $70,500 - $91,000 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
