Must Have:
. The Business Data Analyst should be helping to improve business
processes through investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all
or part of a data life cycle in terms of business functions and processes.
Must have strong understanding of health care domain end to end Healthcare
Payer business knowledge.
.8 years' experience as a data analyst /business analyst with a
minim of 5 years of work experience in DW/BI/ODS applications
.Through understanding of SDLC methodology both waterfall and agile
.Ability to understand data models (both relational /dimensional)
although background in data modeling is a huge plus
.Should be able to facilitate requirements in a group setting
.Strong communication & documentation skills (written and verbal)
Responsibilities:
.Develop the functional and non- functional requirements specifications
.Develop requirements- functional and non-functional and
establishing traceability matrices
.Meet with business and technical team members to identify/validate
business rules (Working with the ETL team lead, Data Architects, ETL
architect) at least 6 -10 years experience as a data analyst /business
analyst , within the healthcare industry
.Critical communications role by interacting with users (business
domain) and with developers and testing personnel (technical domain)
Source to Target mapping document
.Ability to perform data profiling using SQL
.Should have experience in Source to Target Mapping and documenting
Business Rules/Use Cases
