CGI has an immediate need for a Business Data Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. While this position must be located within a commutable distance to a CGI office, a hybrid working model is acceptable, preferably in Columbia, SC or Lafayette, LA.

Responsible for leading the functional requirements gathering with stakeholders. The candidate works directly with internal customers to understand the business environment and needs. Identifies relevant design, process and specification issue.
Work with product and technology teams to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies.
Create user stories, acceptance criteria and participate in scrum ceremonies.
Present information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.
Identify opportunities for product improvements, as well as collect feedback from team and provide recommendations.
Develop communication and outreach materials for internal and external audiences.
At least 10 years of relevant experience
Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data-driven decisions.
Experience with database modeling, mapping, and system interface documents
Experience writing and understanding data rules
Experience performing user acceptance testing and story acceptance
Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong Excel skills , SQL and relational database knowledge
Experience with Salesforce.
Experience using JIRA, SharePoint and Confluence
Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $74,600.00 - $146,900.00.
