The Hardware Test Engineering Organization is actively seeking a Business Data Science Professional. This role is not just about maintaining a strong awareness of the processes and systems applied by engineering, operations, and finance but about making significant impact. With a particular emphasis on data visualization and various reporting systems and tools, the successful candidate will be crucial in collaborating with business team members and partners to understand needs, evaluate options, and facilitate the selection, planning, and delivery of solutions. Your blend of business and technical understanding and project management is essential to our success.
**Description**
As a key player in our organization, you will handle the factory readiness process for various lines of business, including planning processes, inventory management, order management, optimization, reverse logistics, and more. Your role will be important in applying business process data sets to find opportunities for intelligent methodology standards. Your solutions will support a broad, cohesive strategy for feature improvements to systems and tools. You will drive the collection, pre-processing, clean-up, analysis, and visualization of data sets generated by the factory readiness process. This proactive approach will help the organization identify data-use opportunities and advocate for intelligent model applications where needed. As a data scientist, you will identify gaps and patterns similar to those of other teams and functions. Your insights will be crucial in recommending process, system innovation, and efficiency initiatives that will deliver customer-focused solutions, making you a key influencer in our team. You will work closely with multi-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and other data scientists, to extract insights from data to integrate models and help prioritize the organization's development focus. You will act as a business process champion for system and tool feature design, development, user testing, and implementation improvements toward intelligent models. Your ability to collaborate optimally will be a key asset in this role. Evaluate options against various factors and recommend long—and short-term strategies. Collaborate on the development of new systems and the extension of existing systems' capabilities. Present results and other analytical findings to business partners and leadership.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 3+ years experience in data visualization, scripting, and applying data metrics models to business.
+ Tableau / Data Visualization skills and scripting (Python, SQL).
+ Experience in PLM systems, bills of materials, and contract manufacturing interactions.

+ Demonstrate expert data-driven understanding and problem-solving skills, drawing insights and hidden patterns from data, visualization, and data storytelling of business processes and their relationship to technology.
+ Meticulous attention to detail, data integrity, data wrangling, business metrics, and business analytics solutions and projects.
+ Proficient in manufacturing business processes (preferably for hardware products).
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Demonstrate a shown experience in relationship-building and the ability to influence peers and management optimally.
