Business Data Solutions Engineer will develop and implement both system- and process-based efficiencies, automation and best practices within the Electronics sales and distribution network, focused on master data quality, process efficiency and error reduction. This role will lead the price master data and handheld scanning workstreams, serving as back up to other master data streams and support.

What you will be doing:

Backup Master Data Creation and Maintenance – SAP MM SDResponsible for Pricing master data maintenancePrice management lead for day-to-day processes, periodic and annual adjustment processesCreate technical request documents for system enhancements and work with IT on development, testing and implementation of the associated solutionsManagement, support, and process improvement for the barcode scanning system of product package management. This includes data, equipment, upgrades and usage.Develop and maintain interfaces as needed between SAP and related systemsDevelop innovative and robust solutions that demonstrably improve operational efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance Linde’s ability to serve our customers. Incorporate workflows, automation and data quality in solutions.Lead improvement projects in areas of responsibility

What makes you great:

Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Or equivalent experience.Experienced in SAP Master data maintenance – MM and SD desired. Experience in one or the other required.Extended understanding of SAP environment beyond master data, strongly desired.Experience in SAP S4 Hana implementation or data migration desired.Advanced skills in MS-Office applicationsBasic Project Management experience, at a minimumSQL, Evolve, Salesforce and workflow software experiences are a strong benefitAbility to travel upon request related to projects and meetings on an ad hoc basis. Estimated <25% travel.
