Business Developer Get to know the business General Insurance is a leading provider of insurance products and services for commercialand personal insurance customers. It includes one of the world’s most far-reaching property casualty networks. General Insurance offers a broad range of products to customers througha diversified, multichannel distribution network. About the role What you need to know: Responsible for: · Managing the relationship of all assigned producers · Identifying and developing a target number of new key producers; via analysis of volume, lines of business, specialization, and other factors that are attractive to AIG' strategies and coordinating an early development process · Developing, executing and managing the sales plans for all assigned producers; achieving retention and new business targets for the assigned producers · Communicating our value proposition to our all assigned producers including clear risk appetite and training them to AIG’s systems and products · Evaluating non-target brokers aiming at further developing their business relationship with AIG Greece branch · Collaborating with internal departments to ensure proper service for the assigned producers What we’re looking for: Experience: · Previous professional experience in a department of a General Insurance Company where interaction with customers and producers is necessary, is considered as an asset · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Insurance/ Statistics is a must · Excellent knowledge of the English language · Local insurance market knowledge including producers’ channel and General insurance products is considered essential · Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills including customer focus and problem solving · Drive for results · Able to work effectively in a continuous changing environment · Have a positive collaborative personality and team spirit Reimagining insurance to make a bigger difference to the world American International Group, Inc.
