Job Title: Business Developer

\nGeneral Purpose of the Position:
\n
\nThe business developer will create and build client relationships while sponsoring interaction to obtain projects. They will assist in developing and facilitating the proposal process for specific clients/sponsors including budget and pricing development, proposal writing, contract negotiations, and client presentations.
\n
\nResponsibilities:
\n \n\n\tContribute to the development and refinement of Company’s vision and strategy\n\tSupport the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure the organization maximizes its short, medium and long-term profitability and shareholder returns\n\tImpact the profitability of the company through ensuring strategic and tactical management decisions and new business development results\n\tCommunicate back to internal groups the outcome of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group i.e. clear details, critical timeframes, and expectations.\n\tCollaborate with the Operations Finance Group to evaluate project performance and to recommend refinements and improvements of all components of proposals.\n\tTrack and report on the status of all proposal components.\n\tEstablish and maintain on-going client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems. Participate in site visits.\n\tSupport other Business Development Team members in the compilation of ‘Out of Scopes’.\n\tParticipate in activities needed to support the management functions of the team.\n\tPerform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.\n\tCompetitor and market analysis\n\tSelf-development and continuing personal development\n\n
\nFormal Education/Certifications:\n\n\n\tA Bachelor’s Degree in business, science or other related discipline\n\n
\nKnowledge & Experience:\n\n\n\t3-5 years of general business experience\n\tAbility to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes.\n\tStrong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.\n\tExcellent oral and written communication skills.\n\tWillingness to travel.\n\tExcellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.\n\tExcellent interpersonal skills.\n\n
