Job Description

Purpose

The Business Developer will support the development and growth of our brand in smaller, high-potential markets within the emerging region. This role is key in driving brand awareness, managing distributor relationships, and contributing to sales growth across selected markets. The position aims to streamline tasks across the team, while building foundational support for our brand’s expansion. The role reports into the Regional Sales Director Emerging Markets.

Responsibilities

Market Development: Identify, maintain and cultivate business opportunities in smaller emerging markets, building relationships with local distributors and ensuring proper market penetrationSales Support: Assist the senior sales team with sales strategies, account management, and achieving revenue goalsBrand Development: Support brand positioning, drive SKU growth, and ensure alignment with our overall brand strategyDistributor Relations: Develop and manage relationships with distributors to optimize sales channels and improve supply chain efficiencyReporting & Analysis: Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive insights, providing regular updates and recommendations to the senior teamProcess Optimization: Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales and brand development processes

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

Experience

3–4 years in sales/marketing or business development within the FMCG sector, ideally in an emerging market context. Experience working with distributors is preferred.

Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and provide actionable insightsAdaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with diverse marketsRelationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage distributor relations and internal stakeholdersSelf Driven: Proactive attitude with a focus on identifying opportunities and initiating improvements

Skills

Sales & Negotiation Skills: Basic understanding of sales principles and experience with running a PnLCommunication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; other regional languages (i.e. polish) are a plusBrand Development Knowledge: Familiarity with brand positioning and SKU managementProject Management: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectivelyTech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of CRM tools is a plus
