Position Overview

GO Riteway is seeking a Business Development Analyst to contribute to the company’s commercial services sales growth initiatives within existing and new markets. As part of the commercial services sales team, this position focuses on conducting data collection and analysis to inform strategic decisions about existing account expansion, lead generation, market penetration, and customer acquisition in alignment with GO Riteway’s strategic plan. 

Key Responsibilities 

Develop and utilize sales analytics to drive revenue growth.Conduct customer, prospect, competitor and market analysis including volume, profitability, and associated variables.Provide strategic guidance for market and customer opportunities, ensuring the service mix aligns with market demands. In collaboration with the V.P. Sales & Marketing, identify, pursue and close new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.Evaluate RFPs and develop bid responses and proposals to secure large opportunities.Facilitate major customer contracts at inception and renewal periods.Monitor sales budgets, projections, and financial reporting to track and optimize performance.Oversee marketing initiatives and support tactics as neededDeliver regular updates to the leadership team on major customer performance, opportunity management and overall revenue results. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Operations, Accounting, IT, and HR to align sales initiatives with organizational goals.Serve as a resource to management on initiatives related to customer, prospect, service and market intelligence strategiesContribute to the development of the commercial services annual sales plan

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.5+ years of sales experience preferably in transportation, logistics, or a service-oriented industry.Proven success in developing and using data analytics in strategic planning and business development.Strong analytical skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting to key stakeholders and leadership team.Expertise in developing and presenting effective RFP responses, and closing large-scale opportunities.Proficiency in CRM software, digital marketing platforms, and data analysis tools.Exceptional communication and organizational skills.Valid driver’s license.

Travel approximately 20%
