What You’ll Do As a Business Development Associate, you will play a key role in expanding ABEL Construction’s footprint by: + Prospecting for New Business: Identify and research potential clients within your assigned market, uncovering new opportunities. + Sales Strategy Development: Highlight our products, services, and values to prospective customers through compelling sales strategies. + Building Relationships: Establish strong, long-lasting connections with clients, guiding them from the initial sale through to project completion and beyond. + Lead Management: Qualify leads and opportunities, track progress, and provide weekly and monthly reports using our CRM software. + Delivering Presentations: Create and deliver professional presentations that clearly communicate the value ABEL brings to its clients. + Advocating for Clients: Be a client advocate, ensuring their needs are met and resolving any concerns throughout the project lifecycle. + Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with the VP of Business Development to develop and execute sales plans, while leveraging resources across the company to achieve results. What We’re Looking For + Sales & Business Development Experience: Prior experience in sales, business development, or a related field is preferred. + Strong Communication Skills: You should excel at building relationships, networking, and presenting to diverse audiences. + Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software and social media for prospecting and lead generation is a plus. + Self-Motivated & Independent: You are a proactive, creative thinker who can drive sales from initial contact through to deal closure. + Team Player: Ability to collaborate with various departments to achieve business goals. + Willingness to Travel: Occasional travel to conferences and industry events to represent ABEL and increase brand awareness.
