Description
We are seeking an ambitious and strategic Business Development Associate to focus on driving growth, acquiring new clients, and expanding our market presence. This individual will play a key role in generating new business opportunities and creating targeted sales strategies while collaborating with internal teams and leveraging available tools to maximize outreach. The ideal candidate thrives in a relationship-driven sales role, is highly organized, and has a track record of achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & New Business Acquisition:
+ Drive growth by identifying, targeting, and securing new business ("new logos").
+ Utilize tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator, and CRM platforms to prospect potential clients and uncover new opportunities.
+ Conduct research into target sectors (e.g., finance, real estate, manufacturing), evaluate company portfolios, and develop actionable sales plans.
Sales Strategy Development:
+ Develop strategic sales campaigns tailored to specific business needs and industry sectors.
+ Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to execute multi-channel campaigns that reach targets effectively.
+ Propose and present detailed sales strategies to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and consistency.
Relationship Building & Networking:
+ Build and foster long-term relationships with prospects and clients to establish trust and credibility.
+ Actively participate in community engagement efforts such as memberships in relevant organizations or speaking engagements to drive brand awareness.
+ Position the company as a trusted partner and leader in the industry by identifying opportunities for additional work with existing clients.
Collaboration & Campaign Management:
+ Work collaboratively with marketing teams to create compelling advertising and outreach campaigns.
+ Leverage an advertising budget for targeted, consistent messaging across various channels.
+ Regularly meet with internal teams to brainstorm and fine-tune sales and campaign strategies.
Reporting and Tracking:
+ Utilize CRMs such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and similar tools to track outreach efforts, monitor results, and report performance metrics.
+ Own responsibility for meeting assigned quotas and sales goals and effectively tracking results.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ B2B Business Development or sales in the advertising, marketing or professional services industries.
+ Proven track record of successfully selling and securing business engagements, with measurable results.
+ Proficiency in CRM tools such as HubSpot (preferred), Salesforce, or Pardot.
+ Experience using lead generation tools like ZoomInfo or LinkedIn Navigator.
+ Demonstrated ability to build and scale sales strategies from concept to execution, including campaign planning.
+ Strong communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate strategies, sales approaches, and results.
+ Passion for community engagement and relationship building, with experience fostering trust among prospects and clients.
