Are you ready to take your career to the next level with our prestigious leading law firm client in San Francisco? We are seeking a dedicated Business Development Assistant to support our firm’s overall business development efforts. In this role, you will be the Marketing point person at client-related events in our San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices, handling event set-up, registration, and troubleshooting on the day of the event.This is a non-exempt position with a hybrid schedule, requiring you to be in the office three days a week or more if special events are taking place. You may be asked to be onsite in Silicon Valley for events as well. As part of our firmwide Marketing & Business Development Department, your key responsibilities will include:Responsibilities
Be responsible for the planning, and execution of all marketing events logisticsWriting or working on pitches/RFPsResponsible for collateral updatesHelp ensure that mailing lists, experience records and other data projects are handled effectively and efficientlyDevelop audience segmentation and targeting strategies for email list building and optimizationProficiency in email reporting, providing user training and support, supporting email policies and best practicesDirectory submissions and other departmental projectsAssist with various department-wide tasks as assignedQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field preferredDemonstrated initiative, highly organized and detail orientedPossess strong interpersonal and time-management skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skills are critical to successStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExemplary customer service and collaborations skills, with the ability to work well within a teamDemonstrate initiative, independent thinking and creative problem solvingWillingness to learnProven ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of efficiencyCapability to handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines simultaneously and see projects through to completionFlexibility to work the schedule required to satisfy event responsibilitiesAbility to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period.The Compensation range for this role is 28.00 to 32.00 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
