Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Business Development Executive to focus on expanding new business opportunities and exceeding the needs of current clients in North America. In this role, you will manage an existing customer base, focus heavily on developing new customers within existing and emerging markets, and build relationships with key partners for effective channel management. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be passionate about building strong, value-based relationships, and possess the ability to connect with customers and prospects through both phone and email. Drive new revenue and expand business opportunitiesSource, foster, and manage new and existing client relationshipsIdentify and research competitors to understand their offerings and our unique value propositionResearch potential clients in new and existing markets, pursue leads, and move through the sales cycleArrange business meetings with prospective clientsPromote company products by addressing and predicting client needsCollaborate with Sales Operations on planned activitiesAchieve all personal sales objectivesEstablish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partnersWork with VP, BD Law Enforcement Solutions to develop proposalsFollow the sales process with daily updates and tracking of sales, revenue, and opportunitiesParticipate in all sales forecasting and planningParticipate in or attend exhibitions, conferences, and shows as requiredRequirements
2-6 years of proven new business development experience within the DoD, Law Enforcement, or RF Communications spaceA motivated and driven mindset of finding and identifying sales opportunitiesStrong background in technical sales and business developmentKnowledge and understanding of key players in the public safety or telecommunications industryExperience working within public safety, telecommunications, and/or IoT industriesStrong business acumenProven ability to proactively engage with leaders and facilitate discussionsTechnical proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelProfessional demeanor and ability to build relationships at the highest levels both inside and outside the organizationAbility to work in a fast-paced, team environmentAvailability to travel within North America to meet customers and attend key conferencesEducation/Certification Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Electronics, Engineering, or related field is requiredClearance Requirements
