Our client is looking for a motivated and results-driven Junior Business Development Executive to join their team in Barrie, Ontario. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their career in sales and business development, with a focus on growing client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and maximizing revenue. The position offers a competitive base salary with commission incentives.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a portfolio of clients through relationship-building and ethical sales strategies. Identify and qualify new business opportunities to drive company growth. Gain a strong understanding of customer needs and provide tailored solutions. Respond to sales inquiries and follow up with potential clients using appropriate methods. Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction. Assist in resolving customer and supplier issues, including financial concerns when necessary. Attend client meetings and industry events, representing the company professionally. Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities. Support strategic account planning and sales forecasting. Qualifications & Skills: 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field (entry-level candidates with strong skills will be considered). Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify business opportunities. Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software is an asset. Ability to work independently and within a team. What’s in It for You?
