This Business Development Executive position based in New York City will be focused on Private Equity.Candidates must reside in the Greater New York City area.
The BDE position is a fun and exciting role in the firm that takes the reigns in bringing new clients and opportunities to our platform. We truly feel that our firm is uniquely positioned to help our clients grow and succeed. We do this through collaborating with our partner and senior manager group to add value to all of our stakeholders, including external referral partners and prospective and current clients. Drawing off a deep expertise in sales methodology, the BDE will help increase our exposure to the technology industry market and help guide our sales vision. This role is essential to our firm growth objectives and development of our team capabilities.

Responsibilities:
Increase Moss Adams awareness and generate new sales to target companiesAchieve specified annual sales goalsWork with partners and senior managers on pursuing new sales opportunitiesSupport assigned industry groups and become an acknowledged industry/sales expertDevelop list of qualified targets that support regional and industry group’s growth goalsWork with BDEs in other regions to share best practices and drive salesWork with local and group marketing resources to develop and leverage marketing campaigns, increase marketing ROI and improve client’s onboarding experience Assist in preparing sales materials, proposals and prospect communicationsMaintain records of sales activities and results in CRM system; document wins and provide appropriate assistance with the commission approval processQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; major in business and/or graduate degree preferredMinimum of 10 years of demonstrated success in sales requiredDemonstrated success in selling professional services to businesses and excellent knowledge of the geographical marketStrong executive presence and demonstrated leadership skills, good judgment, and ability to effectively interface with employees and leaders at all levels within the firmUnderstands the business issues associated with accounting and/or professional services, strong ability to uncover needs and develop solutions to client issuesAbility to build and refine proposals to elicit true value of firm and principlesAbility to establish and cultivate long-term effective relationships with internal and external relationshipsAbility to work independently to develop leads and work in teams to sell our services Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint) and CRM softwareAbility to travel as needed, approximately 25%Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire.
