Business Development Intern, Summer/Fall 2025
Job Summary:

About the Role & Program:

Disney Corporate Alliances is responsible for building corporate marketing partnerships between Disney and a select group of domestic and global brands. These relationships may include sponsorship, marketing and licensing rights as well as business-to-business opportunities. Corporate Alliances may involve multiple business units including Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Disney Cruise Line, ABC, ESPN, Disney Consumer Products, Disney Digital Network, Disney Studios, Disney Music Group, etc.

What You Will Do: 

The Corporate Alliances Business Development Intern must be flexible in their ability to assist in the development of partnerships across a broad range of industries.

Form strategic business recommendations based on industry research and analysisResearch, design and develop company/brand overview documentsDevelop presentations for both internal and client facing audiencesWork with internal stakeholders to support ongoing business development initiativesCollect and manage creative assets to be used in presentationsParticipate in / lead team brainstorming and provide creative inputAttend meetings and presentations with high-level executives

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Ability to work both independently and in a team environmentWell-rounded business skills and acumenDemonstrate strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlinesSelf-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities and highly confidential informationAbility to cultivate partner relationshipsPositive attitude and ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexibleStrong presentation skillsExtensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)Demonstrated knowledge of The Walt Disney Company business segments

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Demonstrated knowledge of trends in marketing and sponsorshipWorking knowledge of iWork for Mac (Keynote)

Education:

A junior, senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Economics, Strategy or closely related program.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.Be at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information:

The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 – January 2026Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internshipThis internship is a hybrid position -- Must be able to provide own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Orlando, FL area. The pay rate for this role in Florida is $22.00 per hour.
