Business Development Intern - Summer 2025

We are seeking a multi-talented individual who can be our utility player - someone who is a self-starter and can seamlessly handle a wide array of responsibilities with limited oversight and direction: from managing day-to-day tasks, communicating with executives and management, and putting together financial models, among other responsibilities. This role will be focused around the business development team and its objectives. Whether it is investing capital to create additional jobs, attracting live events to the Detroit/Cleveland, bringing new life to a building or activating a public space, our philosophy is simple: effect positive change by working For More Than Profit. **About the Role** + **Operational Support:** Keep our office running smoothly by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and ensuring the efficient internal communication and schedules + **Project Coordination:** Participate in high level meetings, complete and distribute meeting minutes, follow-up with partners, manage next steps, project manage key tasks, collaborate with various internal teams to ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met, maintain documentation, track progress, and prepare requested reports. + **Financial Analysis:** Financial modeling and projections for key projects and budgets. + **Event Coordination:** Plan and execute tours, partner visits and leader meetings, conferences, and live event logistics, and follow up on outcomes. + **Strategic Contribution:** Conduct research as requested, and distill complex documents, concepts or information into clear and concise key points. **About You** + Self-directed approach + Ability to communicate effectively + Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word **What You’ll Get** Our team members fuel our strategy, innovation and growth, so we ensure the health and well-being of not just you, but your family, too!
