Business Development Leader – Bridges & Highways/ DOT Projects - CRS

​The role of the Business Development Leader – Bridges & Highways/ DOT Projects - CRS is to spearhead profitable sales growth for Bridges and Highways construction and restoration products in the US market. This involves strategic account development, identifying and tracking project opportunities, meticulous planning, hands-on relationship building, and the implementation of sales programs. The key is leveraging sales, marketing, and technical services to expedite success.

Primary Responsibilities

Implement strategic sales plans outlined by the National Sales Director - CRS to achieve corporate goals in the Bridges and Highways infrastructures sector. Conduct market research to determine customer and corporate product needs across various market channels. Collaborate with the National Sales Director to establish corporate strategy and technology development. Deliver sales presentations to key clients and prospects, collaborating with Sales Representatives. Emphasize MAPEI solutions through hands-on demonstrations, samples, and a consultative selling approach. Serve as the point of contact for Field Sales on Bridges and Highways infrastructures within MAPEI Corp. Lead the development and introduction of Bridges and Highways construction products in collaboration with PLM and R&D. This includes an effective launch strategy, product literature creation, training functions, inventory support, strategic marketing, and achieving sales objectives. Engage with key clients, helping Sales Representatives in relationship development, negotiation of business opportunities, and meeting with stakeholders such as AEC firms, Design Professionals, Specifiers, Contractors, Distributors, Public Authorities, and Owners. Identify and build a comprehensive engineering and contractors’ network to increase sales opportunities in key metropolitan territories.
  Provide technical assistance and application support to field sales through client education, presentations, applicator education, field demonstrations, jobsite support, and creating PDH technical presentations and tools required for sales. Collaborate with PLM in the development of new innovative products and system solutions within the CRS business. Evaluate and assist in the resolution of product claims related to the Bridges and Highways product range. Participate in MAPEI tradeshows to demonstrate products, showcase features/benefits, and promote MAPEI brand awareness. Actively participate in key trade associations and committees such as ACI, ICRI and others to keep MAPEI at the forefront of the industry. Actively participate in Local, Regional, and National Trade Associations to gain a leadership position. Conform and abide by all MAPEI policies, work procedures, safety rules, and regulations. Perform other ad hoc duties as required. In conclusion, each employee is expected to contribute to a positive company image by engaging in professional conduct at all times when representing MAPEI. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, a minimum of seven to ten years of experience in your assigned product market. ​and/or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training. Possess knowledge and experience in the Bridges and Highways/ DOT infrastructures projects market, including both new construction and restoration, and be familiar with major players such as AEC firms, contractors, owners, public authorities, and industry associations. This role will require moderate to high travel at times. Valid driver license and good driving record. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish and/or Italian) a plus. Certification goals -- US: CSI, CDT, LEED-AP. Membership(s) involvement: ICRI (local/national), SWR, CSI, AIA, and/or other industry related organizations​. Licensing or other Special Requirements Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
