As a Business Development Manager within North America, you will be responsible for profitably growing revenue and market share, with a strong focus on discovering, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This critical role will guide the direction of the business unit, establish growth strategies, and collaborate closely with other teams to ensure cohesive and integrated efforts. You will report directly to the Director of Commercial Sales.
This role is primarily remote, with travel to key customers, tradeshows, manufacturing operations, and other locations as required. The hours of work will generally be during regular business hours, with at least 40 hours a week, but may vary according to special projects, deadlines, or other concerns.
What You’ll Do
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Develop and nurture relationships to leverage them for winning new business.
Act as the main point of contact between the company and clients, fostering cross-functional relationships within MFT to leverage our strengths as ONE MFT.
Understand clients’ business objectives and challenges, implementing growth strategies for each assigned segment.
Regularly meet with bottlers, procurement, Key Accounts, and LPOs to develop and expand business relationships.
Analyze account performance, including revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Use data and insights to make informed decisions and adjust account strategies.
Prepare sales forecasts, track progress toward revenue targets, and provide regular reports to management on customer performance.
Provide Voice of the Customer feedback to Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and other key internal teams.
Deliver commercial support for new product development, launches, marketing campaigns, customer service, and technical support.
Who You Are
A strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of thinking strategically and executing tactically.
Skilled in negotiating within existing purchasing agreements and promoting equipment bundles across the MFT portfolio to both existing and prospective operators.
An ambitious hunter who identifies and capitalizes on the most promising new sales opportunities by uncovering emerging business and market issues, and identifying potential customer organizations and their influential decision-makers.

Builds lasting customer relationships to ensure our partners’ needs are met in a mutually beneficial way.
Skills/Experience We’re Looking For
Broad-based commercial skills with knowledge of finance, operations, logistics, human resources, in addition to sales and marketing.
Highly energetic, motivated, assertive, and able to take direction and work as part of a team, while also possessing an entrepreneurial attitude.
Proficient in public speaking, capable of delivering engaging hands-on equipment training sessions and compelling business presentations.
Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing the sales process in the foodservice and beverage industry or other manufacturing industries using consultative sales methods and corporate account management.
Exceptional experience in marketing and sales of beverage and foodservice equipment, preferably to corporations and large chain customers.
Extensive travel is required to cultivate and strengthen relationships through face-to-face meetings across diverse locations nationwide.

Target Base Salary: $115,000 - $135,000
