Business Development Manager, Financial Products
**About the Role** We’re seeking an experienced and highly skilled Fintech professional to join our Global Payments and Financial Services Business Development team. In this role, you will identify and develop new financial services partnerships, help shape our financial services strategy, and manage the commercial aspects of your partnerships. **What You’ll Do:** - Help scale our financial services ambitions at Uber as part of a small but mighty Financial Products Business Development team - Source partners that can help service Uber’s financial services ambitions across multiple deal archetypes - Lead strategic and complex negotiations from the outset to completion, engaging cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment across teams on deal terms. **Basic Qualifications** - Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, partner management, or similar roles in payments at a technology company or payments company - Bachelor's Degree - Strong financial analysis skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills **Preferred Qualifications** - 8-10 years of experience in Fintech or Payments - Expertise in payments, financial services, financial products, gift cards, payment acceptance and disbursements, risk, identity, wallets, card networks, and compliance - Financial modelling skills - Strong product instincts and ability to find opportunities to leverage partners’ existing and in-development products, as well as the ability to collaborate with Uber’s Product, Operations, and Engineering organization to build premier features for our users - Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity - Experience with establishing and maintaining C-level relationships at partner companies - Ability to fuse business, strategy, finance, and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$158,000 per year - USD$175,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$158,000 per year - USD$175,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
