Expected salary range of $90,900 to $111,100, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes commission and 401(k).
**LOCATION**
This is a remote sales position, supporting clients across the U.S. Up to 15% travel is required, to attend customer-site and in-office meetings and conferences / networking events, as needed. Candidates must reside in the United States and be willing to work a corporate day shift schedule on Eastern or Central time zone hours.
**Primary Purpose of Position**
This consultative sales role is focused on the proactive identification, development and closing of integrated, digital based solutions designed to address the Energy and Sustainability goals of large-scale, national customers.
**Primary Duties and Accountabilities**
+ Ability to identify, prospect and contact high-level decision makers in respective businesses and cultivate client relationships delivering signed contracts to achieve annual sales quota.
+ Cultivate customer relationships with respective Fortune 500 companies to establish and maintain a viable sales pipeline of qualified opportunities.
+ Facilitate in-person customer meetings focused on identifying the needs, challenges and compelling events of customers.
+ Establish and expand professional brand within assigned sales targets through participation in key trade shows, conferences, seminars, trade associations and networking events.
+ Outstanding communication skills with the ability to speak in front of groups and C-Level executives and senior decision makers.
+ Leverage existing market contacts and relationships to drive prospecting and business development activities.
+ Develop and submit accurate sales forecasts to sales leadership.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelors Degree or higher in Business (Marketing or Finance) or Engineering and 5 years of experience in energy/electricity markets with an emphasis on marketing and/or sales, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
+ Business-to-business energy sales experience in electric and gas commodity, demand response, solar and energy
+ efficiency products.
+ Demonstrated history of success in originating, negotiating and closing complex sales transactions
+ Experience presenting and closing high-level Fortune 500 customers
+ Excellent organization and communication skills, the ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
+ Proficiency with MS Office Suite and experience using databases
+ Must be a motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and remotely
+ All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience selling Software as a Solution (SaaS) products, ideally within the energy sector
+ Professional affiliation with The Energy Professionals Association (TEPA), Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), or similar energy focused professional networks
+ Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM system
+ Bachelors Degree or higher in Business or Engineering.
