Business Development Manager – LATAM (Formulations)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager specializing in pharmaceutical formulations to drive growth in the LATAM region, with a primary focus on Mexico and Brazil. The ideal candidate will have a strong network, in-depth market knowledge, and a proven track record in building strategic partnerships and driving sales in the pharmaceutical sector.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Market Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the LATAM region, specifically Mexico and Brazil. Conduct market analysis to understand trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Networking and Relationship Management: Leverage an existing network of distributors, partners, and clients in Mexico and Brazil to drive sales. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue targets in the LATAM region. Collaborate with internal teams, including regulatory, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure successful market entry and product launches. Regulatory and Compliance: Ensure adherence to local regulatory requirements in the LATAM region for product registration and marketing. Sales and Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance, provide regular reports, and recommend strategies for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the pharmaceutical formulations industry. Strong network and relationships within the LATAM pharmaceutical market, especially in Mexico and Brazil. Knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and market dynamics in the LATAM region. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is an added advantage.
