Business Development Manager any ANX location Posted September 19, 2014 Function Managed Security and Compliance Sales Purpose The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new and existing business within the retail industry, selling ANX security and compliance solutions. Candidate should be positioned to leverage existing relationships within these industries to identify opportunities and close managed security and compliance sales. This role is a quota carrying position with uncapped commissions and reports to the Executive VP of Sales. Major ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities Essential functionsduties of the position Expand the ANX customer base by introducing and selling ANX managed security and compliance solutions to retail organizations. Proactively target new customers through lead generation campaigns. Develop in-depth understanding of each prospect, their buying and organizational influences and their decision-making process. Identify client and prospect expectations, business use cases, and technical requirements. Articulate the value of ANX solutions to solve problems for clients, partners, and prospects. Use both direct and indirect sales methods to leverage industry contacts and market knowledge, to close revenue opportunities. Utilize the CRM Database to accurately reflect pipeline and account activity. Other responsibilitiesaccountabilities marginal functions Remain current on industry trends and competitive knowledge. Establish and maintain status as a thought-leader in the medical or retail community. KnowledgeSkillsAbilities Required Bachelor's degree preferred. BS or BA, or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or related field. 3 years of retail, security, or compliance salesbusiness development experience. A "hunter" for sales prospects. Solution Selling Experience. Excellent customer service skills. Have a personal database of retail contacts to draw from. Proven and verifiable track record of managed security or compliance sales success. Excellent problem solving skills. Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills. Working knowledge of SalesForce is a plus. Ability professionally interact with all levels of management, customers, and staff. Preferred location Southfield, MI negotiable 90 day contract to direct hire. Physical Requirements Willing to travel 40% of the time within the United States.
