Job Description
Axle Informatics is seeking a Business Development Manager with broad strategic perspective and demonstrated performance developing qualified opportunity pipelines by cultivating relationships and marketing research focused solutions across the Federal Health organizations.
Responsibilities
Identify and qualify opportunities that strategically align with company goals and objectivesDevelop and refine win strategies and associated action plans on targeted pursuitsBuild relationships with potential clients across HHS and identify areas to market Axle solutions and capabilitiesRespond to RFIs, sources sought, and RFPsIdentify partnership needs and cultivate partner relationships in collaboration with growth leadership to include opportunity identification and qualification, shaping, selling, and closing capture efforts to win new business.Conduct market research and offer strategic recommendations on how to advance our businessWork with the Proposal Manager and Writers to weave together win themes and strategies into our proposal responses and participate in solution development, writing, and reviewsDrive business to existing GWACs and IDIQsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field5-8 years of relevant professional experience in the Federal Contracting spaceKnowledge of developing relationships with government stakeholders and firms doing business withinAbility to influence and interact with government leadershipDetailed understanding of HHS and relationships with key decision makersAttention to detail with strong communication, negotiation, client relationship building skillsKnowledge of various contracting vehicles and the benefits of eachAbility to understand technical information and communicate it to non-technical stakeholdersIdentify and attend key industry days and conferencesExcellent computer skills with competence in Word, Excel, and Outlook
