Business Development Manager

Position Summary:

As a Business Development Manager for Pyle, you will utilize your skills for engaging prospects, sales, and teamwork to qualify and develop potential leads for our Sales organization to pursue. These skills will be used to qualify and develop opportunities for our Sales organization and to help expand our business development efforts.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

Initiating conversations with targeted leads via phone, email, video conference, social media outreach, and other channels in order to qualify leads and initiate sales conversations Managing a high volume of outbound cold call activities to identify and engage with decision makers, learn about their business, and follow up on in-process activities Working closely with Marketing to gather prospect intel and execute lead development campaigns Working closely with Sales to successfully transfer qualified leads to the appropriate Sales resources to pursue and secure new business Providing recommendations to stakeholders to scale the business development function Developing processes to help onboard and train future business development representatives Coaching new business development representatives to ensure team goal attainment Helping develop and manage our inbound lead process in order to contact and qualify new leads quickly and comprehensively Ensuring prospect intel and daily activities are entered, maintained, and updated in Salesforce Prioritizing tasks to successfully complete campaigns and exceed individual and team goals

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

Previous experience engaging with customers, preferably in a sales or customer service role Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor new team members Ability to network and build relationships online by leveraging social media platforms, industry communities, and initiating conversations with decision makers Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building to develop cooperative relationships with team members and internal stakeholders Excellent negotiating, listening and communication skills Drive to overcome obstacles and succeed in a sales environment The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while adhering to guidelines and maintain close attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills Demonstrated positive attitude; team first mindset Strong knowledge of MS Office

The following skillsets are preferred, but not required:

Bachelor’s Degree Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
