The Opportunity ISMG’s Sales Division is the heartbeat of the organization & the work this team does is essential for our continued growth & success. As a Business Development Manager, you will focus on targeting enterprise organizations within the cybersecurity industry, aiming to understand their unique organizational & marketing needs & position the value of our solution offerings accordingly. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business leads by conducting in-depth market & territory research, identifying executive level decision makers within target accounts, engaging prospects through various cold & warm outreach tactics, pre-qualifying opportunities, & initiating the sale-cycle by setting appointments for our strategic team to execute on & continue driving through the funnel towards closing.   If you have a passion for winning, an appetite for learning, & a desire to accelerate your career within the cybersecurity & marketing industries, we want to speak with you!  What you'll be doing + Developing a high level understanding of ISMG’s offerings across business units, & a strong base level knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, to elevate prospecting communication with clients.   + Identifying & securing sales appointments with target customers through diligent & targeted outreach via cold-call, email, & networking tactics.  + Establishing, developing, & maintaining positive business relationships with clients.   + Achieving agreed upon KPIs, metrics, & performance outcomes within schedule.  + Executing the initial business development stages of ISMG’s integrated sale cycle which includes: Prospecting & Account Mapping, Lead Generation & Nurturing Campaigns, Opportunity Qualification & Appointment Setting What you’ll bring for success + A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s (preferred) in Professional Sales, Marketing/Advertising, or related field(s) + 1-3 years of professional experience in a Business Development and/or Sales Development role targeting new customers within a B2B landscape + Experience targeting C-suite and/or other executive decision makers of enterprise-level organizations, ideally within Marketing, Branding, or Research/Content divisions + A marketing background and/or comprehensive knowledge/demonstrated understanding of digital marketing solutions & industry trends + Strong interpersonal & communications kills & a demonstrated ability to establish productive, professional business relationships  + Formal training in one or more sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Value Selling, Challenger Selling, Sandler, etc. is preferred + Familiarity with Salesforce & CRM practices  + Outstanding time management, prioritizing, & organizational skills  + Willingness to learn & apply feedback to improve performance  + A solution-oriented & results-driven mindset with a desire to make a true impact  Apply now!
