Tyonek Manufacturing Group provides mechanical and electrical manufacturing with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) level capabilities. Tyonek manufactures complex electrical and mechanical components with a capability that includes precision machining and turning, painting, coating, marking, welding, sheet metal fabrication, mechanical assembly, kitting, component and subsystem installation and integration, fiber optic and copper cables and wire harness assemblies, and printed circuit board assemblies. The chosen candidate will be expected to provide Business Development support by increasing manufacturing sales revenue through establishment of new customers and expansion of existing customer relationships. Duties\n\nGenerate new business by working with prospective and existing customers to develop opportunities.\nDevelop a pipeline of opportunities and achieve annual new business targets \nAttend conventions, conferences, and trade shows as needed; prepares post-event reports and analysis\nMaintain an in-depth understanding of competitive environment and the needs of current and potential customers through regular customer-facing meetings and engagements \nAttend company coordination meeting\nSearch for and Identify new Business Opportunities \nIdentify future business in order to generate business and company growth across all areas of the company.\nExceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely\nTechnical skills required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements.\nExcellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities\nOther duties as assigned\n\n

Education\/Experience Requirements\n\nBachelor's degree in a related field preferred\nA minimum of five years of Experience in business development for federal, DoD, and OEM customers\nExperience in business development for aviation manufacturing is a plus\nProven track record of growing sales to new customers in current and new markets.\nPreferred Strong electronic technology and \/ or manufacturing sales experience\nStrong organizational and project management skills\nEffective verbal, written and listening communication skills\nWorking knowledge of Beta SAM and other opportunity search systems\nCompetent in Microsoft Office programs such as word, Excel, and PowerPoint\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n
