Summary Chenega Security International, LLC is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives in the electronic security services sector. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise to identify new business opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth. Your innovative approach and deep understanding of the security landscape will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients. Responsibilities What You'll Get To Do: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve ambitious sales targets and market expansion goals. Leads research, qualification, capture, and prioritization of resources and efforts for opportunities that align with SSBU core capabilities. Focuses on opportunities that may potentially be procured through the SBA 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business program. This includes aggressively supporting Government market research efforts and marketing the benefits of procuring through the SBA 8(a) program - including direct awards. Maintain oversight of the opportunity pipeline and ensures that opportunities support and are aligned with the SSBU Business Development strategy. Ensures sufficient resources are made available to support capture and including activities. Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in electronic security services. Qualifications You'll Bring These Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. MBA or advanced degree in finance, marketing, law enforcement, or homeland security is preferred. 10 years of federal government contracting experience. Secret security clearance with the ability to upgrade to a Top Secret clearance. Effectively communicate both through written and oral means. Possess a general understanding of Defense/Civil contracting environment (customers, technology, business process, etc.) Familiar with the use of business intelligence tools and possess a demonstrated knowledge of the business development process. In depth understanding of the capture and proposal management process in responding to federal government requests for proposals. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) knowledge.
